The Maroochy River Trail is located in the heart of Queensland’s beautiful Sunshine Coast on the magnificent Maroochy River. With an approximate length of 30km, the upper reaches of the trail starts at Lake Dunethin, a main entry point which provides disability access.
From this trailhead paddlers have the option to paddle north to George Best Park, located east of the Bruce Highway, or south to Coolum Creek, the Maroochy Wetlands Sanctuary and Mangrove Islands, into the lower reaches of the Maroochy River.
